Appointments
Telephone calls are answered from 8am to 6:30pm Mon-Fri for general enquiries, Nurses, HCA and PCN appointments. Doctors appointments can no longer be booked over the phone by the reception team. There is now an online form shown throughout the website for patients to access, both for medical requests and admin requests. If any patients are elderly or vulnerable, they can contact the surgery and the reception team can assist them with the form. Doors open at 8.00am to 6:30pm. Doctors appointments can no longer be booked on the desk by the reception team but they can book other appointments on the desk such as with the Nurse or HCA. Staff will be available from 8:00am for you to attend a pre-booked face to face appointment or collect or drop off items.
Medical Emergencies
If you have a medical condition that you feel would cause you harm if left untreated before the next available appointment, you can phone 111 or go through 111 online in surgery hours (8:00am to 6:30pm) who will triage your condition and book an emergency appointment with us if appropriate.
You will be allotted a time by the reception team to come to the surgery on a sit and wait basis and will be seen by the next available doctor.
You will not be able to request a particular doctor. Please remember that the doctor will be fitting you into a fully booked clinic and there may be a wait. The doctor will only treat the emergency condition in the consultation and will ask you to book a routine appointment to deal with anything they feel will not cause you harm if left untreated until the next available appointment.
The doctor will not issue sick certificates etc on an emergency basis.
The local 111 service provides cover from 6:30pm to 8am, weekday evenings, weekends and bank and public holidays. They will direct you to the most appropriate service.

Prescriptions
We only accept prescription requests in writing. You are able to send them in the post, on a piece of paper and put through the letter box or by requesting online. Please click on the link to register for ordering prescriptions online
