Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Service offer Safe & Well home visits for vulnerable patients. Vulnerable patients fall under these categories.

- Live Alone
- Have a Disability or Dependency
- Adult Social Care Needs
During the home visit, the fire service team assess the patient’s home for fire safety – gas and electrical appliances, access and escape routes and smoke alarms are also checked. They also offer advice to patients regarding falls, smoking and can also make referrals when needed.
