Sarcoma Awareness Month 2025

What is Sarcoma Awareness Month?

Sarcoma Awareness Month runs each year throughout July, from the 1st to 31st. It aims to spread awareness about sarcoma, a rare form of cancer that affects the bones and soft tissues. This is very important as it aims to educate people such as the public and healthcare professionals about the symptoms and early detection.

Sarcoma UK

Charities like Sarcoma UK have been set up to help people who are diagnosed with sarcoma and their family and friends. They offer a wide range of support such as their dedicated support line, support groups, emotional and practical support and how to talk to your loved ones about their diagnosis.

Support Line

To contact the support line, please call 0808 801 0401.You can also email supportline@sarcoma.org.uk or text 0786005883.

This service is always confidential and always there to listen and offer support. The support groups are run locally or online, allowing people to discuss with others their diagnosis in a confidential, casual setting. To find a local support group please check out the Sarcoma UK charity website linked below.
