This is an LGBTQ+ youth support group with activities provided by Tokko Youth Space, for young people aged between 13 – 19.
Every other week on a Thursday, they host a youth group in Luton Town Centre, which is packed with activities and opportunities to talk about issues relating to sexuality and gender identity in depth. Our focus is in providing a safe space for young people who may particularly struggle with social anxiety, mental health, and school attendance as a result of dealing with some of these big questions, and creating opportunities for them to be supported and to grow in confidence.
The group also has the opportunity to take part in Luton Carnival and Pride in Luton, as well as sporadic social action activities. We also hold an activity afternoon every half term holiday for Trans Teenagers, in partnership with Luton Sexual Health clinic.
