Wear It Pink Day! 18th October 2024

At Bell House Medical Centre, we proudly joined the Wear It Pink campaign on Friday the 18th of October to raise awareness and show our support during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Wear It Pink Day! is organised by the UK’s largest breast cancer charity Breast Cancer Now, encouraging people to wear pink— from small touches like badges or socks to bold choices like jumpers, dresses, and even tutus! —to support an incredible cause.

Our team embraced the spirit of the day with a staff bake sale, wearing pink attire, and speaking with our patients to explain the significance of our pink outfits. We also collected donations for the charity, creating a bright and uplifting atmosphere throughout the surgery.

Thank you to all our patients who generously donated to this incredible charity. As a surgery, we managed to raise £232.32 for Breast Cancer Now. Your contributions will directly support the vital research efforts the charity undertakes, making a meaningful impact in the fight against breast cancer.
